We use cookies

By using the DijiStream storefront you agree to our use of cookies. We use them to run the site, remember your preferences, and store information you submit through forms and sign-ups.

Storefront and panel

Our public storefront uses cookies as described here. The customer panel at account.dijistream.com is a separate, secure app that uses only strictly necessary session and security cookies.

You’re in control

You can accept, manage, or clear cookies at any time using the cookie banner on the storefront or your browser settings.

Questions?

Read the full policy below, or email us at it@dijistream.com and we will reply within one business day.

This Cookie Policy explains how PITIR TECH, the trading name of Ninu Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on the DijiStream storefront at dijistream.com and, separately, in the DijiStream customer panel at account.dijistream.com. By browsing and using our storefront, you agree to our use of cookies as described in this policy.

These are two different environments, and we treat them differently. The storefront is our public marketing website. The customer panel is a separate, secure environment that holds your business data and your own customers’ information — see “How DijiStream uses cookies” below for how each one is handled.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes in full how we handle your personal data. It is written with the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR — the “ePrivacy” rules) in mind.

01

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep you signed in, to remember your choices, and to give site owners aggregated information about how their site is being used. “Similar technologies” — such as pixels, tags, browser local storage, and software development kits (SDKs) — do much the same job, and where we say “cookies” in this policy we mean all of them.

Cookies can be first-party (set by the website you are visiting) or third-party (set by another organisation whose service is used on that website). They can also be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period or until you remove them. Some cookies are essential for a website to function, while others are optional and are only used with your consent.

02

How DijiStream uses cookies

We use cookies across two separate environments, and we treat them very differently.

The storefront (dijistream.com) is our public marketing website, hosted on Shopify, which powers our shop pages, checkout, and subscription billing. By using the storefront, you agree to our use of cookies. We use cookies to run the site, remember your preferences, and support our marketing, and we may store information you enter on the storefront — for example, when you complete a form or sign up. You can manage your preferences at any time through the cookie banner and your browser settings.

The customer panel (account.dijistream.com) is a completely separate environment: the secure, authenticated app that holds your business data and your own customers’ information. Here we do not run advertising, marketing, or tracking cookies against that data. The panel uses only strictly necessary session and security cookies — a session cookie to keep you securely signed in, a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection token, and short-lived cookies used during login, two-factor authentication, and account set-up — plus, if you set them, lightweight preferences such as your light or dark theme and your language. The information held in the panel is processed solely to deliver the service you signed up for, never for marketing.

In short: two environments, two treatments. How we store and protect the personal data behind your account is described in our Privacy Policy.

03

Categories of cookies we use

04

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the storefront and the customer panel to function, and they cannot be switched off in our systems. Because the service cannot run without them, they do not require your consent, and you cannot opt out of them while continuing to use the site. They include cookies that:

  • Keep you signed in — a session cookie in the panel that maintains your authenticated session, so you do not have to log in again on every page.
  • Protect your account — a CSRF token and short-lived state cookies used during login, two-factor authentication, and account set-up to guard against fraud and forged requests.
  • Run the shop — storefront cookies set by Shopify that remember the contents of your basket and carry you securely through each step of checkout.
  • Keep the site working — cookies that support core navigation, load balancing, and basic security across the site.

Blocking these cookies in your browser may stop parts of the storefront, checkout, or panel from working.

05

Functional and preference cookies

These cookies let the storefront and the panel remember choices you make — such as your light or dark theme, your language, your region, or other display preferences — so we can offer a more personalised and consistent experience. They are not essential: if you do not allow them, the core features still work, but you may need to set some preferences again on each visit.

06

Analytics and performance cookies

Analytics and performance cookies help us understand how visitors use the storefront — for example, which pages are most popular, how people move through the site, and whether anything needs fixing — so we can measure and improve performance. Where they are used, this may include Shopify’s built-in analytics and, if enabled, a third-party analytics tool. The information they collect is generally used in an aggregated way. You can manage analytics and other non-essential cookies at any time through the cookie banner on the storefront.

07

Marketing and advertising cookies

The storefront may use marketing and advertising cookies — for example, to measure how our marketing performs and to remember information you have shared with us on the site. These are managed through the cookie banner and your browser settings, and by using the storefront you accept their use unless you choose otherwise. We keep this to what is standard for an online store. These cookies are not used in the customer panel, which runs on strictly necessary cookies only.

08

First-party and third-party cookies

Some cookies are set directly by DijiStream and Shopify to run our own store and panel (first-party). Others are set by third parties whose tools appear on our pages (third-party). The main third parties are:

  • Shopify — hosts the storefront, checkout, and subscription billing, and sets the cookies needed to operate them, along with optional analytics or marketing cookies. Card payments are processed by Shopify Payments.
  • Analytics providers — where enabled, help us measure traffic and site performance.
  • Judge.me — the product-review service we use to display customer reviews on the storefront may set its own cookies to load and show review content.

Third parties set and control their own cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies, and we recommend reviewing those policies for full detail on how each provider uses the data it collects.

09

Managing and withdrawing your consent

When consent is required, you can accept, reject, or adjust non-essential cookies through the cookie banner shown on the storefront. Your choices are recorded by Shopify’s Customer Privacy tools, and you can change them at any time by reopening the banner or the cookie-preferences link on the site. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before you withdrew it, and it does not switch off strictly necessary cookies, which are always required.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or warn you before one is set — these options are usually found in the browser’s “privacy” or “settings” menu. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, checkout, or panel from working. Many browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting or a global privacy control signal; where the law requires us to honour such a signal, we will.

10

How long cookies last

Session cookies exist only for the length of your visit and are removed when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period — ranging from a few days to, at most, around two years — or until you delete them. The exact lifetime depends on the cookie and the provider that set it: strictly necessary and analytics cookies are generally kept only as long as they are needed for their purpose. You can clear all cookies at any time through your browser, and doing so will also remove any preferences or consent choices stored on your device.

11

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use, in the third parties we work with, or in the law. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, make it clear on the site — for example, through the cookie banner. This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
